Our Chill Story

Hi there, coffee patron - I'm Shreyansh Sharma, and this is the story of how CAFFEINATE AND CHILL came to life.

I'm a born and bred Udaipurite. I did my schooling and bachelor's in Udaipur itself before moving to the UK to pursue my master's degree. While in the UK, I started working part-time. Life was good - until COVID hit.

Everything came to a standstill. I caught COVID, returned to India to be with my family, and initially planned to go back to the UK as soon as possible. But then, another wave hit. Even though I had a full-time work visa waiting for me in the UK, I had a change of heart.

I've always been a caffeine addict - whether it's tea or coffee, I simply can't function without it. My days in London were incomplete without visiting coffee shops; Costa Coffee was my convenience, my daily latte stop.

One day I thought: why not create a place of my own? A space that's addictive, comforting, and serves fellow caffeine enthusiasts like me. The idea of living in my hometown, close to family, and building something meaningful started making more sense.

That's when CAFFEINATE AND CHILL was born.

My family and my then-girlfriend (now wife) were incredibly supportive - one of the main reasons this dream turned into reality.

While thinking of a name, I thought, "What's better than combining the two things I love doing the most - caffeinating and chilling?" And so, Caffeinate & Chill came to be.

In early 2022, the dream started taking shape. We officially launched in September 2022, and since then, it's been nothing short of a rollercoaster - thrilling, challenging, but absolutely fun.

One thing I've learned from working in this industry is that it takes real hard work and dedication. It's definitely not as easy as it seems from the outside. But every bit of effort is worth it if it brings even a small moment of joy to the lives of our customers.

We are also working constantly to bring in more specialised coffee brewing choices in the menu apart from the regular ones.

So cheers to all our lovely patrons - you're the ones who keep us going and make CAFFEINATE AND CHILL a truly special experience, just as the name suggests.
